Dr. Todd Brown
Dr. Todd Brown dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since he was 11 years old, the year his parents finally allowed him to get a dog! Growing up in South Florida, Todd developed a love for animals, nature, science, and medicine. After finishing his undergrad at University of Florida, Todd attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 2007. After finishing clinicals at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine he moved to Horry County to practice.
Dr. Todd’s love of bird dogs, especially German Shorthaired Pointers led to the creation of the practice’s name. Currently Todd, his lovely wife Marissa, and their 2 daughters own 2 foo foo dogs, Louie and Jaq, Hal the golden/boxer mix, and a mischievous cat named Hamilton. When not working, Todd enjoys College football (Go Gators/Go Tigers), hiking, RVing, fishing, and spending time outside with his family.
Dr. Todd enjoys veterinary surgery and has corrected numerous ACL, Hip injuries, broken bones, removed numerous tumors, delivered hundreds of pups via C-section, and neutered and spayed thousands of pets in the Grand Strand.
